Base Station In A Box

Rapid deployment of Crossflow Energy’s IES base stations are designed to bring reliable communications equipment quickly and easily for emergency communications, military applications, disaster recovery, or temporary sites.

Military uses

A secure on-site energy supply eliminates much of the security risk associated with diesel energy generation in hostile locations.

Rugged and durable

Our IES units are designed to operate in extreme environments, making them ideal for military usage. Unlike conventional turbines, the Crossflow turbine's performance is insensitive to minor blade damage and dirt built-up, with simple replacement of damaged components if necessary.

Portable power

Designed for remote access, all IES unit components are packed into 20ft shipping containers for ease of transport and rapid deployment/re-deployment.

Compact

The addition of wind turbine increases the energy density of the system compared to solar/battery hybrid systems, requiring a smaller footprint on the base camp.

Consistent energy output

Energy output is less affected by seasonality as compared to solar/battery hybrid systems. Crossflow turbines can operate at low wind speeds making them suitable across variety of different locations.
